This publication describes the conducted review of reviews concerning the meaning of the terms adaptive expertise and adaptive performance. The study included nine of the reviews found and compiled information from these reviews into a review of reviews. The publication provides an overview on how adaptive expertise and adaptive performance are conceptualised. In addition, it describes the individual, task and organisational characteristics found that relate to adaptive expertise.
